I've been going here since they operated out of a garage off of Goodman St. You'd be hard pressed to find a staff as helpful and knowledgeable. Great prices, quality gear. They just know their stuff.

Love this store !!!! Chuck is carrying on the tradition of Rob & John, which is he actually cares about the working musician. Austin is one talented man ....thank you for your expert, timely, repairs on my 15 yr old keyboards that I have hundreds of hours of programming in them.

This establishment has a particular air about it that exudes knowledge and wisdom. I used to go to a hardware cornerstore with my dad when I was little; this location had that same atmosphere. The gentleman at the front was very helpful, answering my questions, recommending product, and giving solid advice on equipment/setup. I highly recommend checking out Sound Source.

I love this music store a lot to choose from at great prices I traded in a guitar towards an awesome keyboard. They are very knowledgeable and helpful,and will to let you try out the instrument ls that you are interested in. Thank you guys and I will be back

I love this store and the staff! Prices are hard to beat and the selection of used gear is really great. You get really cool vintage pieces come in that you won’t find elsewhere.

Chris was super helpful in finding my boyfriend a combo amp! Some of the best customer service I’ve seen! Super friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and not pushy about trying to sell the most expensive thing in the store (which some other businesses do). Worked with in our budget very nicely. If you need anything instrument related I can’t recommend sound source enough! Thanks Chris!

We trust Sound Source for all our equipment rental needs! They also supply us with last minute cables and lesson books. We've bought some of our favorite instruments here. A very comfortable and welcoming environment. Rochester is lucky to have Sound Source at our fingertips!
